The Center Console is the heart of a Jones Brothers boat. It contains the controls, gauges, most of the electronic accessories, and is the termination point for all cables and wiring harnesses. All Jones Brothers consoles use a booted waterproof switch panel backed by a composite and stainless fuse block that uses standard automotive mini-fuses. The boats also use labeled wiring harnesses that are made specifically for each model. One or more batteries are located inside the console for convenience, weight distribution and weather protection. Placing the batteries in the console also improves wiring access for accessories - no long wire runs to the transom are required for rigging. This also places the batteries near the fuse terminal block and switches, and provides easy access when you need to get to them out on the water. The boats with the Light Tackle Edition packages include a tackle locker, and have cockpit lights for evening and low light conditions. While not technically part of the console, Jones Brothers uses a special battery terminal block which is located under the rear starboard jump seat. By using the terminal block and a special battery harness, the batteries can be placed inside the console and still use the original Yamaha engine harness.

Standard Superfish Console

The 100% composite standard-sized Superfish center console is used by all Jones Brothers boats with the exception of the Bateau 17 and Cape Fisherman 26. The console has a user friendly grab rail that provides the driver and passengers easy access to a strong stable rail without reaching. A cushion set is a standard feature on most models.

An insulated cooler can be installed under the front console seat. The cooler is an option on the Bateau 20, 23 and Cape Fisherman 18, 20 and 23, and standard on the Cape Fisherman 1910LT.

The SuperFish console has a front surface panel designed for flush-mount electronics. There is also plenty of room on top of the console to bracket mount components as well. Customers that choose not to surface mount electronics often add the optional upper storage box on the SuperFish console.

Large Superfish Console

The 100% composite large Superfish center console is used on the Cape Fisherman 26. The console has enough interior space for a porta-potty and/or Double Dual Batteries options.

The large SuperFish console has a front surface panel designed for flush-mount electronics. There is also plenty of room on top of the console to bracket mount components as well. Customers that choose not to surface mount electronics or install components in the T-Top box, often add the optional upper storage box on the SuperFish console. An optional insulated cooler can be included under the front seat on the large SuperFish console.
